Nottingham City Council has given the go-ahead for changes at the Experian headquarters.
The consumer credit reporting giant wants to add capacity to its premises in the Sir John Peace Building on the NG2 Business Park.
It will also become Experian鈥檚 biggest 海角视频 site as it cuts the number from 17 to five in a post-Covid business model. Globally it is reducing the number of office sites from 157 to 100.
The Nottingham changes also include adding vegetable plots, wildlife habitats and bee hives to make the environment greener.
David Bates, Experian鈥檚 chief financial officer for the 海角视频&I, said: 鈥淚t is our largest 海角视频 site. The space is designed to provide a dynamic flexible working space for 2,400 employees.
"This is greater than our pre-Covid levels as we will have more employees based from this site as we consolidate our 海角视频 offices.
鈥淥ur vision is to create an exemplar campus at the Sir John Peace building that not only focuses on sustainability, but places Experian at the heart of our local community.
"This will also support our goal to retain our position as the number one choice for talent in the East Midlands.
鈥淏y investing in the Sir John Peace building we have demonstrated our long-term commitment to Nottingham as a major regional hub for our business.鈥
Planning documents from Maber architects, on behalf of Experian, read: "With the expectation that it becomes a major regional hub, we intend to invest significantly in its infrastructure.
"Experian Group have committed to become carbon neutral, within our own operations, by 2030 and we want SJPB to be at the forefront of that."
There will be a total of 200 parking spaces, 21 electric vehicle parking spaces and zero energy lighting across the whole site.
The application was given planning permission on December 9 by the city council.
