Already an advocate for protecting biodiversity and sustainable farming, the owners of wanted to ensure their green story ran throughout the business.

With an already impressive renewable generation portfolio, made up of multiple ground source heat pumps and rooftop solar panels, their existing sustainability measures were impressive.

And by working with SSE and its 100% renewably-sourced electricity, they were able to cut their emissions further in the push toward net zero.

That’s why Managing Partner, Johnny Wake, placed such emphasis on working with a renewable supplier.

He said: "It's really important to us that we can say, hand on heart, that 100% of the energy we’re consuming via SSE is completely green."

Crystal Doors

is a national leader in sustainable manufacturing thanks to Founder Richard Hagan’s commitment to sustainability.

And when it wanted a 100% renewable electricity source to boost its carbon-cutting efforts, it was SSE that was chosen.

Switching to 100% renewable energy made the biggest impact on Crystal Doors’ carbon footprint.

When the company moved to a renewable tariff, its overall carbon emissions were reduced by 30%.
