A Bristol racing simulator company founded by a former F1 driving engineer has secured a multi-million pound export contract.
Dynisma was established in 2017 by Ash Warne, who wanted to create motion simulators with real-world correlation, and its systems are now used by top motorsport teams including Formular One, McLaren Automotive and Ferrari.
In the last 12 months alone, the business has opened a new 20,000 sq ft campus in Bristol to support its growth and created more than 65 new jobs.
The latest contract was secured with support from Ƶ Export Finance (ƵEF), the government’s export credit agency.
With a €3m (£2.59m) surety bond issued by NatWest, and guaranteed by ƵEF’s Bond Support Scheme, Dynisma secured the €10.7m (£9.2m) contract with an unnamed European client.
The company's partnership with NatWest and ƵEF also includes a general export facility worth up to around £7.1m.
Graeme Cook, chief executive of Dynisma, said: "This support from ƵEF and NatWest has played an important part in helping us unlock new global opportunities. It reflects the strength of our technology, our culture, and our people.
“As a team, we’re proud to be flying the flag for British innovation on a global stage and to be helping our customers rethink what’s possible in simulation, development, and performance. This is just the beginning – our platforms have huge potential in adjacent industries, and we’re excited for the road ahead.”

Dynisma’s advanced motion simulators enable automotive manufacturers to virtually test and develop vehicles across the entire product lifecycle – from early concept through to final sign-off.
The company supplies its systems to original equipment manufacturers and teams across all major motorsport series, helping reduce physical testing, shorten development cycles, and improve overall efficiency.
Gareth Thomas, minister for exports, said: “Dynisma is a fantastic example of a successful British business that has gone from strength-to-strength through exporting.
“ƵEF’s support enables Dynisma to unlock valuable new financing, which has opened up a new chapter for the company and helped to create new local skilled jobs.”
Louis Spencer, relationship manager, NatWest, added: "Dynisma represents a fantastic example of British engineering excellence, delivering a major boost to the local economy and technology sector."
