PervasID has announced the appointment of Guy Hipwell as non-executive director.

Mr Hipwell has held senior roles with some of the most recognised names in international retail, including Harrods, Liberty, Arcadia Group, BHS and C&A. He has also become an visor to several high-growth SMEs, particularly in the tech, cybersecurity and defence sectors.

North East outdoor brand Berghaus has announced the appointment of Adam Field as its vice president for brand marketing.

Mr Field will lead the global marketing team at the Sunderland based company, reporting to Charlie Pym, the company’s senior global vice president.

He is an experienced senior marketing professional, having worked at Reiss, Nike, and Chelsea FC, focusing on digital-first and brand marketing strategy. His most recent role was head of marketing at Reiss.

Kani Payments has appointed Panos Savvas as chief technology officer.

Mr Savvas brings over 20 years’ experience leading product and engineering teams in fintech and banking across the Ƶ, US, Europe and Latin America. He has held senior roles at both high-growth startups and global institutions, leading platform overhauls and scaling cloud-first infrastructure.

He said: “There’s a clear opportunity here to build the most trusted source of truth for payments data.
