Real estate firm CBRE is relocating its South West England and Wales team to new offices in Bristol. The company will move from its current location in Clifton Heights to a 7,500 sq ft space on first floor of the award-winning EQ building on Victoria Street.

A total of 90 employees will be based in the new offices, which will overlook the atrium and will be accessed via its own staircase.

CBRE’s project management team will be managing the fit out of the workspace and the move is expected to take place in the second quarter of 2025.

Tom Morris, managing director for the Midlands and South at CBRE, said: “This relocation marks an exciting new chapter for our Bristol team. The EQ development’s outstanding sustainability credentials and leading amenities align perfectly with what our people are seeking from a workplace."

CBRE's team in the West Country and Wales has nearly doubled in the last five years and the company said it had "ambitions" to expand further moving forward.

Mr Morris added: "Bringing our team together in such an innovative space will enhance our workplace experience, help us attract and retain best-in-class talent, and ensure we can continue to offer and grow our exceptional client service offer. This is an exciting time for the city of Bristol, and we’re excited to be growing alongside it."

EQ, which is being developed by CEG, is Bristol’s first new office development aiming to be net zero carbon in operation. The property will be all-electric with solar panels, rainwater collected and reused, and it is targeting zero waste being sent to landfill. In March, it was announced a café, event space and gym would open on the ground floor of the building.

Paul Richardson, investment manager at CEG, added: “From façade design to water conservation, occupant wellbeing to sustainable travel, [EQ] exceeds expectations. This, coupled with the great location and fantastic wealth of amenities continues to attract the highest calibre tenants and we are delighted to welcome CBRE to EQ’s thriving business community.”
