Convenience specialist Nisa and forecourt retailer MPK Garages Ltd have extended their relationship to include a further 17 outlets.
The deal follows a supply contract brokered to serve 11 former Morrisons Daily stores acquired by MPK earlier this year.
Primarily situated in the Midlands, with additional stores along the M5 between Birmingham and Bristol, and M1 between Nottingham and Durham, the focus will be food-to-go and chilled ranges, bringing in a wide selection of Co-op branded goods. Scunthorpe-headquartered Nisa, part of The Co-op for the past five years, will take a co-branded position alongside MPK鈥檚 Pop-In Daily on what are 1,000 sq ft to 3,000 sq ft sites.

Wayne Harrand, retail director at MPK Garages Ltd, told how there had been 鈥渟atisfaction with the initial transition of the 11 Morrisons stores鈥, citing 鈥渁 seamless process and positive performance鈥. 鈥淭his outcome has led to the decision to migrate the remainder of MPK's store portfolio to the Nisa supply chain,鈥 he said, commending the Nisa team for their productivity and emphasising the 鈥渟trong platform they have provided for future growth within local communities鈥.
Victoria Lockie, head of retail at Nisa, described MPK as having a thriving forecourt business. She said: 鈥淚鈥檓 absolutely delighted that 17 additional MPK stores will be joining Nisa over the coming months. Wayne and the team have proved to be fantastic to deal with since we began our relationship with the original 11 stores and I鈥檓 sure the relationship between Nisa and MPK will continue to grow from strength to strength.
鈥淲e are seeing some fantastic growth across our forecourt business at the moment and this partnership with MPK further strengthens our development in that particular market.鈥
The initial supply deal began in April, with a Bristol site, with further locations in Worcestershire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire and Yorkshire added.
MPK launched in 1979, and is headquartered in Leicester. It was acquired by Australian-owned Stratford Retail Group in 2018 and turned over 拢92.3 million in 2021.
