Iceland and The Food Warehouse have joined forces with global product discovery platform RangeMe to change the way they uncover and source new product.

A spokesman said that by tapping into the platform the 海角视频鈥檚 leaders in frozen food have unlocked access to more than 800,000 products from over 200,000 suppliers.

They added that it will enable the Deeside-based firm's team of buyers across frozen, chilled and grocery, to source the most innovative emerging products.

Andrew Staniland, trading director at Iceland, said: 鈥淛oining forces with RangeMe has already transformed our sourcing and buying process.

"Our customers have increasingly diverse tastes and preferences and RangeMe鈥檚 technology presents us with opportunity from the global product market on one screen. Huge opportunity exists in collaborating. Embracing new technology, as we have with RangeMe, is key to getting ahead in the retail industry.

"This partnership has streamlined our approach to buying and sourcing and we will continue to maximise the software to supercharge our efforts to get the best-of-the-best onto the shelves in our stores as quickly as possible.鈥

RangeMe first launched in 2014 and is now used by more than 15,000 retail buyers in the 海角视频, Benelux region, North America, and Asia Pacific.
