An Indian restaurant in Bristol has gone into voluntary liquidation.
Spice Inn, on Providence Lane in Long Ashton, has appointed insolvency practitioners McAlister & Co to wind up the company.
The announcement of the liquidation was made on public records site London Gazette.
It is not yet known why the restaurant closed or if any jobs have been lost.
The founders opened Bath鈥檚 first Indian restaurant 50 years ago, according to the company鈥檚 website.
The Long Ashton branch opened eight years ago and was a 鈥渇amily friendly restaurant鈥 with outdoor views.
Spice Inn鈥檚 website describes the venue as serving 鈥渁uthentic indian cuisine鈥 without artificial colourings and flavourings. The restaurant also had a regular Banquet Night every Wednesday.
Ahmed Ripon is named as the director of the restaurant on Companies House. He was appointed in January this year.
The liquidators were appointed on August 1, 2019 by members and creditors.
