A Derbyshire printing firm has been working around the clock to produce thousands of technical labels for new ventilators which will be used to treat coronavirus patients.

Blackfish Group, is producing the labels at its production site at Cossall Industrial Estate, in Ilkeston, which will be applied to the machines.

It is estimated that the new ventilators will save around 90,000 lives in the Ƶ during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Blackfish is able to play such a key role thanks to an already well-established relationship with client, Penlon, which develops world-renowned medical devices.

It is also down to the technical abilities that Blackfish is able to offer, due to investments made in machinery, which allows the firm to print technically challenging labels for medical equipment.
