Fast growing US home security company SimpliSafe has selected Manchester as the location for its new 海角视频 headquarters.
SimpliSafe will oversee the 海角视频 launch of its smart home security system from its new home in Spinningfields.
Founded in 2006, SimpliSafe provides two million American homeowners affordable professional grade monitored home security with no long-term contracts.
In its first six months, SimpliSafe 海角视频 has built a team of five customer support and sales representatives in its Spinningfields call centre, with plans to double the size of the team by the end of the year.
Following the appointment of Jonathan Wall, 海角视频 general manager, in January, SimpliSafe has also started to build out the 海角视频 marketing team.
Will Brooks 鈥 who has joined them from Missguided - has been brought in as 海角视频 product manager to lead the e-commerce offering, alongside Andrew Thompson who has joined the team as the 海角视频 head of brand and communications, following a fruitful career working with brands including Sage and Iceland Foods.
The company has also built a network of local partners who have supported in getting the 海角视频 operations off the ground, including; MIDAS, Manchester鈥檚 inward investment agency, the Northern Powerhouse Investment Hub, Trafford Park-based CAE Logistics who hold stock and help fulfil orders, Forward Roll Recruitment and Carat Manchester, Media and Advertising Agency 鈥 part of Dentsu Aegis Network 鈥 who are supporting SimpliSafe in delivering a multi-channel marketing strategy.
