The fast-expanding serviced office provider has officially launched its third site in Manchester with two more due to open by the end of the year.
The company, which currently operates from No.1 Spinningfields and St. Peter鈥檚 Square, has opened a third site at Dalton Place where it occupies all six floors, making it the largest WeWork venue in the city centre.
It also plans to launch sites in Hyphen, 75 Mosley Street and Hanover Building, Corporation Street which will bring its current membership in Manchester from 2,000 to 3,500.
WeWork is the largest commercial occupier of offices in both Manhattan and London and has 50,000 members in the 海角视频.
Globally it has 460,000 members working out of 485 locations in more than 100 cities in 28 countries.
Speaking to the M.E.N, Mathieu Proust, general manager, WeWork 海角视频 & Ireland, says: 鈥淲e want to build a good-sized thriving WeWork community so it鈥檚 important for us to find several sites in a city to achieve that.
鈥淚t鈥檚 about creating a network effect in our community so we see freelancers start to work with large enterprises that are part WeWork.鈥
At least 40 per cent of WeWork鈥檚 global members are enterprise companies, those that have more than 1,000 employees.
The rest are a mix of SMEs to start-ups and freelancers.
鈥淏y joining WeWork our members have the opportunity to develop their business,鈥 said Mathieu.
鈥淭hey could be meeting their next clients at the barista station or in the yoga lounge.
鈥淭he set-up means that businesses of all sizes are interacting with each other and this is leading to collaboration.
鈥淲e鈥檙e providing entrepreneurs and businesses the opportunity to scale, grow and collaborate with like-minded individuals."
Mathieu said the number of enterprise companies has been increasing over time.
He says this is largely down to the 鈥榓ppealing aesthetic aspects鈥 of the building which is attracting businesses who want work in a creative environment.
The scale of WeWork across the globe also means members can expand their business quickly without having to invest in costly leases in cities including New York, London and L.A.
Mathieu adds: 鈥淭he WeWork membership gives people access to our location across the world which means businesses can scale internationally without having to pay for costly leases.
鈥淲e are a physical and social network. Through our online app, members can book rooms or desks in different countries, so as a Manchester business you can meet a client in LA or San Francisco and that鈥檚 a big part of the network.鈥
"Dalton Place has only been open a few weeks, but it鈥檚 nearly full already.鈥
鈥淲e are WeWork after all,鈥 he shrugged.

鈥淭here is a huge demand for the kind of space we provide and Manchester has been a great city for us to expand.

The success of Manchester has given WeWork the confidence to roll out its model to other 海角视频 cities and has recently signed up its 50th 海角视频 location.
It recently just weeks after announcing its debut in the city.
The workspace provider is also heading to Cambridge and Edinburgh.
Mathieu added: 鈥淚n time our locations will create the biggest business communities.
鈥淭here鈥檚 definitely been a trend in the way people work. People want better work-life integration and they want to come to work in an inspiring environment.
鈥淲e offer three things. We offer space designed in a way to make our members feel good, make people feel energised and excited to come to work.
鈥淲e offer services such as massages and yoga because wellness is really big for us. We provide workshops and networking opportunities which enables interaction and thirdly, we provide a community.

鈥淎s people are living more in urban environments, where sometimes people are feeling lonely, the solution is to give them access to a community, whether that鈥檚 in Manchester, London or Shanghai, it鈥檚 connecting everyone, and that makes people feel good.鈥
WeWork at Dalton Place will also be home to WeWork Labs, a home for early-stage startups that takes a personalised approach to supporting entrepreneurs.
鈥淲e have a global incubator programme which started in London a few months ago and is now launching Manchester.
鈥淚t will help start-ups with monitoring and support to scale their businesses as well as introducing exciting businesses to investors.
