Drinks distribution venture LWC Glamorgan is set for further expansion following the opening of a new depot in Tonyrefail.
Last year the former wholesale arm of Glamorgan Brewery Company was acquired by LWC, the 海角视频鈥檚 largest distributor of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks in the 海角视频 with more than 15,500 customers.
At the time Glamorgan operated from a smaller depot in Llantrisant. The new facility, where 30 jobs have been created taking the overall headcount to 85 , extends to 42,402 sq ft.
The depot will serve pubs, bars, restaurants, and venues across south Wales.
Richard Anstee of LWC Glamorgan said: 鈥淕lamorgan has always had a strong sense of pride and purpose. This new site reflects that spirit and sets us up for an exciting future. We鈥檙e proud to be part of the community and to support the businesses that make Welsh hospitality so special.
"We鈥檙e constantly recruiting, with current vacancies for a telesales manager, brand activation manager, and ongoing driver recruitment, and are keen to hear from passionate people looking to grow with us.鈥
The business is on track to increase its headcount to 100.
Managing director of LWC, Ebrahim Mukadam, said of the investment in the new depot: 鈥淭his isn鈥檛 about changing what makes Glamorgan special. 鈥淚t鈥檚 about backing it. We鈥檙e here to support the team, the customers, and the community - and this new depot gives us the space and tools to do that even better.鈥
The new facility was officially opened by former Welsh rugby international Jonathan Davies. He said: 鈥淚t鈥檚 fantastic to see a business like LWC investing in South Wales and backing our hospitality industry This new depot is a real boost for the region.鈥
