A brace of venues in the West Midlands have won national tourism awards.

Black Country Living Museum and Mallory Court Country House Hotel & Spa both took home honours at the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2025.

The museum in Dudley won gold in the large visitor of the year category while the Leamington Spa venue was named large hotel of the year.

St Mary's Guildhall, the 700-year-old tourist attraction in Coventry city centre, won bronze in the international tourism category.

They were all finalists in the national ceremony held in Brighton after winning categories at the West Midlands Tourism Awards in March.

Across the wider region, Keele University in north Staffordshire was named best business events venue, Abbots Grange Manor House near Evesham won silver in best B&B and guest house and World of Wedgwood in Stoke-on-Trent was awarded silver in the international tourism category.

Completing the regional winners was Andrew Hurley, a volunteer at Avoncroft Museum in Bromsgrove who took home bronze in the unsung hero award.
