League Two football club Walsall have signed a new stadium naming rights deal.

The club has teamed up with Wolverhampton-based logistics firm Pallet-Track.

From next season, the ground will be known as The Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium, bringing to an end its previous three-year deal with discount retailer Poundland.

The company's relationship with the club is now in its third season, having sponsored the players' player of the season award and also main stand last season.

Walsall FC's chief executive Ben Sadler said: "Our relationship with Pallet-Track is extremely important to us and one we value greatly.

"It is fantastic to work with a local and successful company who have similar values to the club and an aligned outlook on business, partnerships and teamwork.

"Our mission is to inspire the hearts and minds of the community and a key part of that is engaging with local people, businesses and stakeholders who care about Walsall, the Black Country and the West Midlands.

"We understand the impact we have on our town and the responsibility we have to our community which local businesses and employers such as Pallet-Track also value highly and can evidence in their sector too.

"We've shared some great moments, such as a pre-season trip to Ireland and the Pallet-Track gala awards event, but above all else our highlight has been getting to know and work with people who care greatly about what they do, our partnership and most importantly one another."

Pallet-Track's chief executive Stuart Godman added: "We have really enjoyed supporting this ambitious club and we are extremely proud to be making our partnership even more visible.

"Pallet-Track is delighted to have agreed naming rights with Walsall FC to become the proud sponsor of the Bescot Stadium ahead of the new season.

"We know how important it is to play an active part in the local community and our ongoing, and increasing, partnership with the Saddlers is a perfect example of this.

"It's a partnership that has continued to grow over the last couple of years and we are super excited for the season ahead.

"We have enjoyed watching Walsall go from strength to strength and having the opportunity to invite our colleagues and shareholder members to experience and be part of this great club."
