A fifth permanent boutique could soon emerge for independent jeweller to the stars Daniella Draper.

The Grimsby-headquartered brand has secured an extension on a Christmas pop-up it opened in Leeds, with negotiations underway to add it to the outlets operated in Cleethorpes, Lincoln, Beverley and Bowness.

Located in Victoria Leeds, described as "the glamorous heart of the city centre and one of the country’s most beautiful shopping destinations," the immediate stay will take in the key calendar highlights of Valentine’s Day and Mothering Sunday, and comes on the back of an exceptional Christmas trading.

Della Draper, designer Daniella’s mother and business partner, said: “We have extended as a pop-up until April, and we are negotiating a lease for a permanent store.

“We have had a fantastic Christmas all round, all of the stores have come in up, and the website is up as well. We’ve had really fantastic feedback.”

And the team based at The Enterprise Village aren’t stopping once the Yorkshire capital is conquered either.

“We are constantly looking for vibrant locations, those that are bucking the trend,” Della said. “We want up-and-coming places, where there are boutique stores and there is a coffee culture.

"Leeds has a very vibrant city centre, but it one of a few. It is still a difficult trading platform for a lot of businesses. We are looking at off-the-beaten-track places.”
