A podcast is set to be launched by the Liverpool lawyers who worked with Coleen Rooney on her Wagatha Christie libel case against Rebekah Vardy.

It will be hosted by Brabners head of litigation Paul Lunt and senior associate Jamie Hurworth.

No date has yet been announced for when the first episode will be released.

Writing on LinkedIn, Mr Hurworth said the podcast "aims to give a view 'behind the curtain', discussing the legal hurdles we faced during the case and, crucially, answering from a legal perspective any burning questions from our audience which you may have felt were unanswered or unexplained".

The law firm was hired by Mrs Rooney not long after her viral social media post in October 2019 where she said she'd carried out a "sting operation" and accused Mrs Vardy of leaking "false stories" about her private life to the press.

The three-year saga concluded on July 29 when Mrs Justice Steyn handed down her verdict that Rebekah Vardy had lost the case. The result followed a 10-day court case in May.

Speaking , Mr Lunt revealed what it was like working on a case like this, how the extra media attention impacted the team as well as why Brabners was chosen in the first place.
