Manchester corporate team at Hill Dickinson deliver more than £375m of deals in 2019

The Manchester corporate team of north west law firm Hill Dickinson has hailed ‘another positive year’ after completing more than £375m of deals in 2019.

The figure forms part of the firm’s overall deal value in 2019 of £1.5bn nationally.

The results continue Hill Dickinson’s national growth strategy and reflect a period in which its corporate team delivered over 80 successfully completed deals nationally for its clients.

Significant transactions during the period include advising on the sale of City Pantry to Just Eat, Sykes Cottages on the acquisition of Pure Cottages Group and advising Zeus Capital on the public takeover of Bonmarche Holdings and the £62.8m public takeover of Murgitroyd Group.

The firm also acted for Waterland Private Equity on its investment in Cawood Scientific as well as acting for Maven Capital Partners and NVM Private Equity on the £7m investment round in Mojo Mortgages.

The Manchester corporate team also advised Praetura Ventures on the £15m Series B investment round in Sorted Group as well as advising PHD Equity Partners on its acquisition and investment in Auto Marine Cables International.
