National law firm Freeths has revealed details of the new management team that will take over when chief executive Peter Smith retires on April 1.
Karl Jansen, current national head of corporate, becomes the national managing partner while Philippa Dempster, managing partner of the London office, will be appointed senior partner.
Julian Middleton, currently national head of employment, will become Freeths鈥 deputy chairman.

The business has almost 1,000 members of staff and 13 offices around the 海角视频, including Leicester, Nottingham, Birmingham and Manchester.
The most recent office is in Bristol, and Freeths is ranked in the top tier in legal directories for 21 legal categories.
