Humber Legal Group has welcomed Hull and East Yorkshire law firm Brewer Wallace to its ranks.
Launched earlier this summer by Grimsby-headquartered John Barkers Solicitors after acquiring Symes Bains Broomer of Scunthorpe and Goole and fellow town firm Michael Culshaw & Co, the buy-out builds a presence in Hull, Hornsea and Bridlington.
Brewer Wallace launched in 2012, uniting more than half a century’s experience harboured by Dennis Brewer and Bob Wallace, who worked together at Harland Turnbull & Roberts until 2008. The undisclosed deal is described as further fortifying the group's capabilities, expanding its service portfolio and reinforcing its position as a prominent force in the legal services industry across the Humber region.

Employing a 24-strong team, Brewer Wallace operates out of two Hull city centre offices, with the headquarters at Shackles Chambers on Land of Green Ginger, alongside a second base in Parliament Street. A Hornsea office and a part-time branch in Bridlington also form part of the set-up.
Howard Field, group chair of Humber Legal Group, said: “I extend a warm welcome to Brewer Wallace Ltd, a well-respected firm with a strong track record of delivering exceptional legal services. Our shared values and determination to work together to meet the diverse needs of our clients across the region will be great for our clients, and provide those who work under our umbrella with rewarding opportunities for career development.
“The group's expanded presence with offices in Hull, Grimsby, Scunthorpe, Louth, Goole, and Hornsea, along with meeting rooms in Mablethorpe and Bridlington, enables us to offer convenient access to our services. We look forward to achieving greater heights together as we continue to build upon our reputation for excellence, explore the benefits of new technology and maintain that human face which our member firms are known for."
Jonathan Stones, chief executive of Humber Legal Group, said the integration of Brewer Wallance was an “essential milestone on the journey” for the entity. He said: “We are excited to embrace Brewer Wallace as a valuable addition to our group. We believe that the combined expertise and dedication of our member firms will give existing clients and new ones even greater confidence that we are able to provide tailored legal services they need. “Together, we are committed to delivering unparalleled service, upholding the highest standards for clients and employees alike, and maintaining our position as a leading legal services provider in the Humber region.”
