A law firm has become the latest to take space on Birmingham's £1.2 billion Paradise estate.

Fieldfisher has struck a deal for new offices in Two Chamberlain Square and will relocate from its current base in Solihull at the end of the year.

The law firm said the move would enable it to double its staff over the next five years.

Fieldfisher has 27 global offices, mainly across Europe, while its Birmingham team comprises 66 staff, including 15 partners, working in fields such as real estate, corporate, tax litigation and private client.

Managing partner Robert Shooter said: "With its strong European connections, Birmingham has been a key location for us to continue working towards our strategy of becoming Europe's leading law firm.

"Moving our team to a city centre location will allow us to nurture our existing client relationships and build new ones as we grow our team and our capabilities in the region."

Partner and Birmingham office leader Ranjit Dhindsa added: "Fieldfisher's sector focus aligns perfectly with the West Midlands' strengths in tech, life sciences and green energy.
