Bumper promotions round at Gateley in Birmingham

Eighteen staff have stepped up to new jobs including a partner in the commercial dispute team

Staff at Gateley in Birmingham who have been promoted into new roles

Legal and professional services group Gateley has announced a bumper round of promotions in its Birmingham head office which has seen 18 staff step up to new roles.

Leading the round is commercial dispute resolution lawyer Kate Canning who has been made a partner.

Jo Dugdale and David Williams (both tax), Jonathan Cree (residential development) and Emma Styles (construction) have all been made legal directors while Harriet Eden (residential development) has been made legal director professional support lawyer.

Tammi Broad (tax), Daniel Packer (real estate) and Sadie Rice (regulatory and business defence) have all been made senior associates.

Eight other solicitors have now been made associates - Amy Ellis and Kim Strachan (corporate), Sarah Morris (commercial dispute resolution) and Chantal Marsh construction) alongside Charlotte Weston, James Coupland, Sultana Begum and Rebecca Green (all residential development).

Property consultancy Gateley Hamer has appointed chartered surveyor Ben Caldwell as its new director.

Mr Caldwell has worked within the utility sector of surveying for more than 14 years, representing 18 of the top 20 housing developers on residential and commercial development sites restricted by utility apparatus.
