An accountancy firm has more than doubled the size of its offices by moving next door in a £340,000 deal.

Davies Archytas Accountants has relocated from its previous 1,010 sq ft base at 14 The Oaks to 2,790 sq ft across two floors at 12 and 13 The Oaks, in Clews Road, Redditch.

The firm was set up in 2018 by Daryl Davies who has worked in the sector for 34 years.

He said: "When we first moved into the offices at The Oaks six and a half years ago there was just me and three members of staff rattling around.

"Since then, we have grown to 18 people and there has been a fair amount of desk sharing going on. Now everyone has their own desk and there is room for more growth.

"We fully expect to be taking on another couple of people over the next year or so.

"I've also purchased the property into my pension fund - it's something I'm regularly advising my clients to do, when circumstances allow, so now I've put my money where my mouth is. It's an excellent investment."

Ben Truslove, joint managing director at property agency John Truslove, worked on the deal.

He added: "It took some time to complete the sale but the new offices are providing just the platform for further growth that this excellent accountancy firm needs."
