The 海角视频’s leading kitchen retailer is heading Stateside.
Wren Kitchens is spreading its wings and flying across the Atlantic, replicating its highly regarded showroom and manufacturing model across America.
It comes after 10 years of solid growth in the 海角视频, having been launched by former Hygena head Malcolm Healey.

Wren now has 90 showrooms across the 海角视频, all served by manufacturing bases around the Humber, set to double this year.
This spring the 海角视频’s “fastest growing bricks and mortar retailer” will open its first US manufacturing facility in Pennsylvania, with future plans of developing its US headquarters in the state too.
The 252,000 sq ft site in Hanover Township, will encompass state-of-the-art machinery and assembling facilities.
The first international expansion co-ordinated from The Nest in Barton, North Lincolnshire, will be in , this summer – with several more showroom openings planned throughout the year in the North East.
The former Babies 'R' Us site will be radically transformed, with more than 100 kitchen displays installed, and at 31,465 sq ft it will be crowned the largest kitchen showroom in America.

It comes as quite a contrast to the Boxing Day launch within a former Toys 'R' Us in the home borough.
“We’re excited to bring our vertically integrated model to the United States, the largest home improvement market in the world,” a spokesperson said.
“It’s imperative to offer our customers a first-class experience, and that starts in our showrooms. We invest heavily in them to offer the latest styles and a truly experiential visit where they can see their kitchen in virtual reality. And also in training our retail staff to offer the customer a fantastic service.”

Wren currently employs over 5,500 people across the 海角视频, and the expansion will create a significant number of jobs in America in manufacturing, retail, delivery and logistics as well as various support roles such as customer services and HR.
Plans to double manufacturing capability in the 海角视频 continue too, with building to begin in March on the £120 million Barton site expansion, with the aim to complete in mid-to-late 2021.
