US expansion for Wren Kitchens as it looks to replicate £1b º£½ÇÊÓÆµ build-and-sell model

The º£½ÇÊÓÆµ’s leading kitchen retailer is heading Stateside.

Wren Kitchens is spreading its wings and flying across the Atlantic, replicating its highly regarded showroom and manufacturing model across America.

It comes after 10 years of solid growth in the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ, having been launched by former Hygena head Malcolm Healey.

Wren now has 90 showrooms across the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ, all served by manufacturing bases around the Humber, set to double this year.

This spring the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ’s “fastest growing bricks and mortar retailer” will open its first US manufacturing facility in Pennsylvania, with future plans of developing its US headquarters in the state too.

The 252,000 sq ft site in Hanover Township, will encompass state-of-the-art machinery and assembling facilities.

The first international expansion co-ordinated from The Nest in Barton, North Lincolnshire, will be in , this summer – with several more showroom openings planned throughout the year in the North East.

The former Babies 'R' Us site will be radically transformed, with more than 100 kitchen displays installed, and at 31,465 sq ft it will be crowned the largest kitchen showroom in America.
