The Belfast arm of design and engineering agency Whitespace has bagged a 拢4 million partnership contract after coming up with a piece of software which helps business leaders make major decisions.

Its artificial intelligence-powered software, eamli, has also help the London-based company win a 鈥渕ultimillion-pound鈥 contract with an unnamed 海角视频 government department.

Glenn McClements, COO and Head of Engineering at Whitespace said the product helps augment and inform decision on best business practises across both the public and private sectors.

鈥淒ecision-making is a key requirement for businesses, yet we have found that most decisions are based on minimal information and analysis,鈥 he said. 鈥渆amli is an expert, augmented, machine learning, intelligence capability that changes this through a dynamic decision-led approach that uses machine learning to continuously improve its accuracy.

鈥淏y providing data and forecasts that can be altered based on business changes, companies can strategically use this information to grow.鈥

Invest NI has offered Whitespace 拢154,000 of support towards the development of its eamli software. In total, the company鈥檚 Belfast office spent 拢450,000 on research and development of the product.

Half of the company鈥檚 global team are based in Belfast.
