If you haven鈥檛 got your entry in for the Manchester Evening News Business of the Year Awards 2020, then don鈥檛 worry as deadline for entries has been extended.

The awards, now in its 28th year, will recognise businesses of all shapes, sizes and sectors culminating in a glittering ceremony at the Principal on Thursday, November 19.

Speaking about the deadline extension, Business editor Shelina Begum said: 鈥淭he calibre of entries we have received so far has been great and we want to give further opportunity for entrants to tell us about their fantastic businesses.

鈥淭his is the absolute last chance for companies in the Greater Manchester region to submit their applications 鈥 so if you鈥檝e got a brilliant business you want to shout about, now is the time to submit your entry.鈥

Businesses have until Friday, March 20 to submit their entries to .

The awards are sponsored by Manchester Airport, PwC, Robert Walters, Brewin Dolphin, CMS and LDC with category sponsor, Bolton School.

This award is open to businesses with a turnover of 拢100m+, a substantial operation which equates to a number of employees, longevity in the region and evidence of a positive impact within Greater Manchester.

Turnover 拢100m plus - sponsored by PwC

This award is open to businesses with a turnover of 拢100m+ with a HQ based within the MEN circulation area.

Turnover 拢50m - 拢100m - sponsored by Robert Walters

This award is open to businesses with a turnover between 拢50m - 拢100m with a HQ based within the MEN circulation area.

This award cannot be entered. The judges will consider entries received in all categories and will reveal the winner on the night of the awards ceremony. This award will recognise a business that has shown excellence in expanding its international reach. The winner may have demonstrated increases in export sales, overseas partnerships or broken into new markets for the first time.
