These South West firms have major expansion plans and are on the look out for staff to make it happen

New figures show that confidence is starting to return to the South West after more than 18-months of Covid-19 disruption.

Figures show that businesses are planning to create jobs despite some concern about their own prospects, the latest Business Barometer from Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking has revealed.

In the past month, we have reported on a number of big name firms creating jobs and here are a further employers who are on major recruitment drives across the region.

Charlie Bigham

The upmarket ready meals company has launched a recruitment drive for 35 positions at its base in Dulcote in Somerset.

The firm, which supplies the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ’s major supermarkets, is looking to add to its food production staff and said it will continue to take on more staff as part of expansion plans.

The business, which currently employs around 600 people, has a bonus scheme and subsidised food and drink at the on-site café.

Cosmic º£½ÇÊÓÆµ

The Devon-based digital skills training provider is recruiting for digital skills trainers in Devon, Bristol and Swindon.

The social enterprise works with organisations across the South West and wider º£½ÇÊÓÆµ to deliver digital skills, training, technical support and website development.
