Two former directors of Derbyshire chocolates firm Thorntons have thrown their weight behind a new company which specialises in vegan alternatives.

Hannah Legg and Mark Robson, who formerly worked for the Somercotes manufacturer, have given their backing to a new vegan chocolates brand called Enjoy!.

The business was founded by Chris Crutchley, who was inspired to come up with his own range of chocolates because of his own food intolerances.

For the last four years he has been working to perfect the ultimate recipe for his own range of chocolate treats.

Now, with the support of Hannah and Mark, he has launched his first products, which include the 海角视频鈥檚 first vegan caramel filled bars and vegan caramel filled buttons.

Until now, Chris, 55, had struggled for decades with intolerances to dozens of types of food which prevented him from eating chocolate.

However, the Enjoy! range contains just three organic ingredients - cacao powder, cacao butter and coconut sugar - and are free from allergens.

Chris said: 鈥淔or my whole life I have loved chocolate, but my body isn鈥檛 able to tolerate the allergens in most bars so I missed out for a number of years.

鈥淣one of the 鈥榝ree from鈥 alternatives came anywhere near to hitting the spot taste-wise so I started experimenting with my own recipes in our kitchen at home using organic, raw and natural ingredients.

鈥淚 was so pleased and proud to create a range of chocolates that were not only delicious but could be enjoyed by all chocolate lovers - regardless of their dietary requirements.鈥

The Enjoy! range boasts 26 products - and all recipes are free from the 14 main allergens found in normal chocolate, including dairy, soya and gluten.

Hannah, formerly marketing director at Thorntons and now sales and marketing director at Enjoy!, said: 鈥淚t was clear from day one that Chris had created something very special and I鈥檓 delighted to be working with him to help shape what the future looks like.
