MediaCity海角视频 has appointed Chris Reay as its new property director.

In the role, Mr Reay will drive forward the delivery of MediaCity海角视频鈥檚 拢1bn 鈥榩hase two鈥 ambitions, a 10-year vision which will see MediaCity double in size, and oversee its real estate management.

Mr Reay said: 鈥淎 key part of my role will be enabling future development through attracting pre lets for workspace and linking together the ecosystem on the estate.

MediaCity鈥檚 development potential over the next decade will add 2.5m sq metres and will include 50,000 sq metres of business accommodation, over 4,000 sq metres of live and work units, 1,871 residential units, over 4,400 sq metres of retail and leisure space and over 1,800 car parking spaces.

Mr Reay will join MediaCity海角视频 with 16 years experience in roles covering the Manchester and Salford property sector.

He was most recently group property director for Allied London, where he was responsible for overseeing commercial leasing, investment sales and development activity of the XYZ Building, No 1 Spinningfields and securing the 220,000 sq ft pre let to Booking.com at Enterprise City.
