E-Factor managing director Mark Webb said: “Members already love coming into the Hive but we have really taken it up a gear. Think of the concierge of a top hotel – that is the wow experience we are aiming for. A lot of thought has gone into creating a space that has a modern industry look and feel, with warmth, comfort and great coffee, where people want to come and spend a couple of hours.”

Yellow and black block furniture has made way for a plush members’ lounge creation, with Business Hive manager Jo Taylor working with Richard Ellis, director of Wilton Cobley to create the BaseCamp look.

Other local businesses have also contributed, with LCS providing the technology for plug-and-go conferencing and wi-fi working across the building.

To brighten up the walls, local photographers Gary Davies and Dan Clarke have provided the Hive with iconic landmark images from the borough.
