22-lodge development unveiled on Trans Pennine Trail in East Yorkshire following £800,000 investment

Country park expansion comes four years after initial opening in 'picturesque' location linking coast and country

The Mews, a 22-unit expansion to Willow Pastures Country Park.

A new luxury lodge development is about to open in East Yorkshire.

Willow Pastures Country Park is closing in on the completion of an £800,000 investment, having added 22 new holiday homes and a state-of-the-art reception and convenience store, featuring owners’ lounge.

The Mews comes four years after the initial launch of the Skirlaugh location, beyond the village garden centre and The Gardeners Country Inn by the Trans Pennine Trail. Part of the family-owned Tony Cook Ltd business, first launched in 1966 as agricultural contractors, it is now embracing the contemporary leisure demand for º£½ÇÊÓƵ holidays, offering a fully managed holiday letting service on behalf of the owners it attracts.

Vanston Cook, managing director, said: “Since opening in 2018, it has been a pleasure to welcome so many friendly owners to the park, from across the country. We have a great community of owners; from those enjoying their own peaceful escape to those looking for a profitable, buy-to-let investment.

“It is very exciting to be launching The Mews and to have the opportunity to welcome new owners to the park. The fantastic new shop and reception is a great facility to be offering, especially given our rural location.”

The new additions, sourced from East Yorkshire manufacturer Victory Leisure, feature spacious outdoor areas, with the opportunity for hot tub upgrades to make the most of the “beautiful, countryside location”. The company has also worked with Willerby and Swift.

A grand opening weekend is being planned for October 21 and 22, as interested buyers are given the chance to take a tour of the development, view the lodges and explore the facilities and surrounding area.
