The region鈥檚 jobless data is set for a Christmas boost after launched a drive to recruit more than 1,000 seasonal workers in the West Midlands.
The recruits will be sorting out cards and parcels before they are sent to delivery offices for post staff to push through letterboxes.
Their main Aston site is looking for 430 extra staff and a parcel sorting centre in Wolverhampton will take on 640.
Another 175 temporary jobs will also be created at the postal giant鈥檚 sorting office in Wolverhampton.
The temporary shifts will be available between mid-November through to early January 2015.
Parcelforce Worldwide, is also recruiting around 2,600 extra drivers and sorting staff throughout the 海角视频.
Royal Mail鈥檚 delivery director, Karen English, said: 鈥淐hristmas is our busiest time of year.

The workers are joining around 14,000 people needed to work in mail, distribution centres and data centres across England.
