A new grade A office led building in the centre of Swansea, which will feature a green rooftop terrace, has been brought to market.
The Princess Quarter office building scheme is set to add 15,000 sq ft when transformation work on the four storey 1950s originally building on the corner of Princess Way and St Mary Street, is completed. The redevelopment project from local developer Kartay will create retail units on the ground floor with three storeys of office space above.
Kartay has now appointed property consultants Knight Frank and Glanmor Chartered Surveyors as joint letting agents to market the scheme to prospective tenants. The space is being offered at £20 per square foot, which would provide a new headline rent high for the city.

Princess Quarter will also offer shower, changing facilities and secure cycle storage for office staff, and has been designed to achieve an EPC (energy performance certificate) A energy rating with sustainability and renewability features to reduce the building’s long-term carbon footprint including an all-electric heat pump system.
