St Modwen launches next phase of West Midlands industrial park

Birmingham-based regeneration group is developing more than 160,000 sq ft of logistics and industrial units in Staffordshire

Work will begin soon on the next phase of St Modwen Park Tamworth

Regeneration group St Modwen is developing the next phase of a new warehouse hub in the West Midlands.

The Birmingham-based company is constructing more than 160,000 sq ft of new industrial and logistics space on the St Modwen Park Tamworth estate near the M42.

Building starts this month on three units totalling 160,600 sq ft which will be ready for occupation from next June.

Tenants taking up space in earlier phases of the park include supply chain specialist Euro Pool System and installation company SM º£½ÇÊÓƵ.

The work in Staffordshire is part of wider plans to deliver around 1.5 million sq ft of space across 11 º£½ÇÊÓƵ schemes during 2021.

Rupert Joseland, managing director of St Modwen's industrial and logistics team, said: "As leasing momentum remains strong, we are excited to be pushing the button on new developments to further expand our portfolio.

"We have one of the º£½ÇÊÓƵ's biggest pipelines and focus on building out high-quality developments in key strategic locations."
