Budget fitness chain PureGym has opened its latest site in Birmingham.

The company has agreed a deal for 8,737 sq ft of space over two units at the Corkfield development next to Edgbaston cricket stadium.

The 24/7 gym operator has signed a 15-year lease at the building which is home to 375 rental apartments.

It already runs several sites across Birmingham including in Broad Street, Arcadian in Southside and Longbridge.

Property director Duncan Costin said: "We're delighted to have opened a new gym in Edgbaston.
