Derby property consultants OMEETO have won a two-year contract to handle commercial property marketing for Bolsover District Council.
It will see the Pride Park-based firm look after a range of office, workshop and industrial properties located across north Derbyshire and north Nottinghamshire.
Some of the properties currently available include offices to rent in 300,000 sq ft of converted mill buildings at Pleasley Vale Business Park, as well as a new business hub at The Tangent in Weighbridge Road, Shirebrook.
OMEETO director Chris Wright, who has acted for local authority clients over the past decade, said: “I am delighted to have been successful in this competitive tender and to be working again with Bolsover District Council.
“I previously handled the council’s commercial property portfolio whilst in a senior position at another commercial property agency, so I am very familiar with the properties concerned and know the market that they are targeting.
“Pleasley Vale Business Park is an attractive site which is close to the M1 and with a range of flexible office space currently available with excellent car parking and security.
“The Tangent business Hub has proved particularly popular with SMEs since it opened nine years ago. The hub provides high-specification work spaces with superfast broadband and professional support services – making it the ideal environment for businesses to grow and develop.
“The particular benefit to businesses leasing offices at these centres is that they are geared to support SME’s. Many offices are available on standard, easy in, easy out agreements.

Bolsover District Council cabinet member for economic growth Coun Liz Smyth said the council wanted to support companies looking for premises to start-up or expand into.
