Bramall Properties secures business park expansion

Further 24,000 sq ft consented on Humberston development and now brought to market

Hewitts Business Park expansion.

Planning consent has been secured for a further 24,000 sq ft of industrial space at Humberston’s Hewitts Business Park.

Permission has been granted for light and general industrial use, together with warehousing and distribution, with trade counter operations seen as suitable for the site, which sits by seven motor dealers.

Harrogate-based developer Bramall Properties Ltd is behind it, with principal Tony Bramall having brought it forward as a legacy from his ownership of Grimsby Audi.

The latest 1.5 acre site is being marketed for sale, sitting behind Tesco and The Pear Tree in the far corner of the development, beyond a £3.5 million office development realised in 2016.

Pan-Humber property agents Clark Weightman and PPH Commercial are acting as agents for the site.

Carl Bradley, director at Clark Weightman, said: “The existing design shows a mixture of unit sizes ranging from 3,000 sq ft up to 10,000 sq ft. That said, this is an indicative design only and units could be configured to suit different occupiers’ requirements, including a single facility of the full 24,000 sq ft.

“The opportunity may suit a developer or owner occupier or possibly a business looking for space for themselves but to create some investment income from part of the site.”

Outline planning permission for 50 houses had initially been granted, as the site with immediate access to Peaks Parkway has developed.
