A facilities management firm has relocated to a new base to support its expansion plans.

ISS º£½ÇÊÓƵ has not moved far though, signing a ten-year lease on 8,782 sq ft of office space at 3160 Park Square on Birmingham Business Park, in Solihull.

It was previously housed in 3,500 sq ft of space at The Crescent on the same park but moved after surrendering the lease there.

ISS º£½ÇÊÓƵ said it required a larger workspace after winning a significant new contract.

Property manager Elena Kritikos said: "Birmingham has been a strategic location for ISS for over a decade.

"We are thrilled to be expanding our office space following a successful relocation and refurbishment."

Property agency Fisher German worked with both ISS and landlord BlackRock º£½ÇÊÓƵ Property Fund to avoid double overheads and maintain the operational continuity to ensure a timely delivery of the contract win.

Partner David Laws said: "We were delighted to support ISS through what was a pivotal moment in their regional growth.

"With their operational footprint doubling, it was essential to identify a property that didn't just meet their immediate space requirements but also aligned with their long-term business objectives.

"Our priority was to minimise business disruption and protect against the financial burden of dual liabilities.

"We were able to structure a deal that allowed for the surrender of the existing lease at The Crescent and secure newly refurbished space at 3160 Park Square.

"We're really pleased to have played a key role in supporting our client's continued success while retaining them within one of the region's premier business parks."

Property agency KWB also acted on the deal.
