A Birmingham rugby club has signed a new sponsorship deal with order and payments app Zapaygo.

Birmingham Moseley RC has agreed a three-year deal with the app which is already familiar to sports fans in the city having been the shirt sponsor of Birmingham City FC.

The app has become the exclusive order and pay app for stadium customers across all the club’s hospitality suites which will enable rugby fans to order and pay from any location via their mobile phone before that order is delivered to their seats or made ready for collection.

The club, which plays in the third tier of elite rugby, is based at a 5,000-capacity stadium in Billesley Common south of Birmingham city centre.

Director Robin Johnson said: "We are thrilled that Zapaygo has become our stadium sponsor.

"It is an incredible and innovative business that I know will thrive, especially in the current climate and in light of how consumers’ behaviours have changed.

"We have many plans for the club and we are delighted that Zapaygo will play a part in building them. We are confident that this will be a beneficial long-term partnership."
