North Tyneside IT healthcare solutions specialist provider Clarity Informatics has created new jobs on the back of demand for its leading product.

The Wallsend-based company acquired TeamNet in 2016, a product specifically designed for primary care teams in the NHS.

The information management product, which is developed, sold and supported from Wallsend, has been created to improve operational efficiency in GP practices, to save time and money and to free up resources that are best spent delivering patient care.

Clarity Informatics is now continuing to invest in the North East by further increasing the workforce following the high demand for Clarity TeamNet.

At the end of last year, the firm revealed the acquisition had helped to drive up sales to more than £3m, with Clarity TeamNet itself seeing 275% revenue growth.

The web-based portal is regularly updated with new information modules, including the first Clinical Knowledge Summary (CKS) for COVID-19.

TeamNet has seen a particularly exceptional growth in the last six months, with 4,254 GP practices using the system, an increase of 34%.

The success has led to Clarity recruiting seven new members of staff in the last 12 months and itLast is currently on the search for a further two.
