Ten up-and-coming firms have been named as rising stars of the 海角视频 tech sector.
The list was announced at an event last night in London by Tech Nation, the 海角视频 network for tech entrepreneurs which is majority funded by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport.
The Rising Stars competition is aimed at early stage, scaleup companies and designed to showcase the most exciting tech ventures from all areas of the country.

ClearGlass, London
ClearGlass is a digital intermediary between asset managers and pension funds which aims to help them make investment decisions.
Codices Interactive, Truro
Codices Interactive provides viewers with a live, interactive video platform, enabling any broadcaster to create interactive shows.

These ten were chosen from a longlist of 33 regional winners announced in November followed by a semi-final last month which whittled it down to 20 finalists.
At the grand final, the finalists were required to pitch to a panel of industry judges in front of an audience of more than 200 venture capitalists, founders and corporates.
The winners will now receive profile-raising PR, one-to-one support, pitch training, introductions to potential partners and investors and support from the programme's partners.
Now in its second year, the competition received almost 400 applications.

The Commute is a new podcast developed by Business Live in partnership with GWR.
