Tech services provider Centiq has been bought by the international SoftwareONE group.

Centiq, which was founded in 1998 in Nottingham, provides data processing systems and products to clients across the º£½ÇÊÓƵ.

SoftwareONE group, which is headquartered in Switzerland, provides software and cloud technology services to more than 65,000 clients in 90 countries.

The cross-border transaction is part of a strategy by SoftwareONE to create a leading end to end SAP (systems, applications and products) services provider on a global scale.

The acquisition will also give Centiq the chance to broaden its service offering and the current leadership team and employees will join SoftwareONE.

Centiq chief executive Matt Lovell said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for Centiq and SoftwareONE, two market leaders in their respective fields that have a fresh and innovative approach to digital transformation to unite and build an even stronger global presence in the SAP software space.

“The integration into SoftwareONE’s global SAP Centre of Excellence enables our team to deliver even greater customer success and value, now with multi-lingual, follow-the-sun support.

“Joining SoftwareONE also further enhances our strategic alliance with Microsoft, amplifying our capabilities and putting Centiq in a stronger position to meet the ever-increasing needs of the market. On this occasion I would also like to thank LDC for their long-term support in helping us build the market-leading business Centiq is today.”
