A software company that was recently named one of the region’s rising stars is aiming to raise $1m investment to expand into the US.

“Employee advocacy platform” Vulse has previously raised £250,000 of funding through SFC Capital and private investors and says its latest investment round “has already gained significant interest from º£½ÇÊÓƵ investors”.

The Manchester company plans to use the cash to establish a base in the US, to create software engineering jobs and to launch extra marketing campaigns.

Vulse’s software helps LinkedIn users develop personal brands and promote company pages, and says it has seen growth in the B2B market by “enabling businesses to turn their workforce into a powerful network of brand ambassadors”.

This year the company has already closed Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS) funding, added Katie Gallagher OBE to its board and secured ISO 27001 certification. Earlier this month, Vulse was named in the 2024 Greater Manchester Tech Climbers list.

Co-founder Annika Sanderson said: "Expanding into the US marks a significant moment for Vulse.

“The investment will help us grow our team, enhance our marketing efforts, and establish a presence in one of the most active social media markets in the world.

“We’re excited to bring Vulse to businesses across the Atlantic, empowering their employees to amplify their voices and build stronger connections."
