A Sheffield digital agency says it expects to double headcount by the end of the year as it continues on its expansion path into the North West.

Creative agency Rise at Seven has opening a new office in Manchester, following on from its expansion into Chicago earlier this year, while also ramping up recruitment.

The firm, which has 95 employees, is currently hunting 15 new members of staff and expects to double headcount by the end of the year.

After signing 24 new clients in the last three months, including Monzo, Tough Mudder, Confused.com and Klarna, chief executive Carrie Rose said the firm has decided to expand to Manchester to get access to a whole new talent pool of creative and digital talent.

She said: “I am absolutely thrilled to announce that we are expanding our physical presence to Manchester. We have just had our second birthday and with the recent addition of some huge clients based in Manchester’s media city, this expansion was the obvious move.

“This is going to mean we can work even closer with them to help build brand, tie search, social and PR altogether.

"We are quickly expanding and are rapidly closing in on the 100 staff mark based across Sheffield, London and Chicago. Our Manchester office will give us access to the huge amount of talent within the city to help propel the agency globally.”
