One of the º£½ÇÊÓƵ’s largest start-up workspace providers is opening its second tech hub in Bristol in 18 months.

Runway East’s new site near Temple Meads station will host more than 250 members of the South West’s start-up and digital community.

The hub opens on December 2 and will house companies ranging from one to 55 people.

Natasha Guerra, Runway East’s chief executive, said: “Bristol’s combination of young, ambitious entrepreneurs and its highly skilled workforce – not to mention what’s on offer in terms of lifestyle – meant we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to open our second space so soon after the first.

“Our mission is to bring together entrepreneurs, innovators, dreamers and doers from all corners of the city to build the best space for start-ups.”

David Fogel, of Accelerated Digital Ventures, which connects large investors with promising early-stage companies, said: “Runway East creates a strong bridge across º£½ÇÊÓƵ entrepreneurs, investors and talent, enabling them to tap into expertise to enhance member startup’s scaling journey.

“This is great news for the ecosystem.”

Runway East launched its first Bristol site on Victoria Street in July 2018, attracting a cluster of rapidly growing companies, including gifting platform Huggg and software company YellowDog.
