A Portuguese cybersecurity and data protection firm has announced plans to relocate the business to Gloucestershire later this year.

B10SEC Cybersecurity and Data Protection's founder and chief executive Flavio Shiga said he plans to move the company's global headquarters to Cheltenham.

B10SEC specialises in providing data protection and cyber security services, delivering projects to more than 10 countries. One of the firm's key areas of expertise is the identification of data leaks, allowing it to launch the 1O Leak Data Monitor solution, a software solution designed to pinpoint vulnerabilities that could potentially lead to data leaks.

The Invest In Gloucestershire team has supported the Portuguese firm over the past 10 months, having first been approached via the Department of Business and Trade on the back of the launch of the ‘Cyber in Gloucestershire’ High Potential Opportunity (HPO) initiative in September 2022.
