A Hull-based high growth performance marketing agency has welcomed 11 fresh faces to the business.

A cohort of recent graduates have become digital marketing executives with Summit, a company behind work for the likes of Ikea, Joules, Three, Levi’s and Ann Summers.

They will enter the Summit Academy, an internal operation which aims to source and develop talent for the business, where more than 80 staff are employed. The next three months will see the team fully immersed into the C4DI firm’s “purpose-designed and comprehensive digital marketing training programme”, giving them all the tools and knowledge they need to begin a career in digital marketing.

Summit chief executive Martin Corcoran, who together with chair Ryan Thomas completed a management buy-out of the firm last summer, said the company was keen to support its roots in the city. It aims to bring business and new job opportunities to the area by recruiting from the region and “enriching the economic status of the area with various projects and partnership campaigns”, this includes one with University of Hull.

He said: “We’re very excited to welcome our new recruits to the already talented team here at Summit. The company has been constantly expanding recently and so a boost in new colleagues was essential to keep up with the growing demand for our work. We’re very proud to hire and train lots of local talent as we forge the way for an exciting tech landscape in Hull.

“At Summit, we truly pride ourselves on being more than just an agency. Our goal is to be the leading partner for online retailers, helping them to drive profit through performance marketing. Our new colleagues will be an important force in our future strategy.”

The company has driven sales of more than £3 billion for clients over the past three years, and is a leading Google Premier Partner in the country - ranking in the top 3 per cent.
