InXpress works with the likes of DHL, FedEx, TNT and UPS

InXpress was acquired by New York private investment firm Hudson Hill at the end of 2020

Greater Manchester-headquartered parcel delivery business InXpress has made four senior appointments to its board including a vice president at Etsy and former directors at Dell and PayPal.

The Rochdale company, which was acquired by New York private investment firm Hudson Hill at the end of 2020, has added Omar Simmons, executive chairman of one of the largest Planet Fitness franchise and managing director at Exaltare Capital Partners; Arnold Goldberg, former senior vice president and senior product technologist at PayPal; Brendan Mulryan, vice president at Etsy; and Jan Uhrich, former VP Services at Dell.

InXpress was founded in 1999 by John Thompson who initially ran the business from his bedroom.

In 2006, the business entered the US market, followed by Australia and New Zealand, and now has 400 franchisees across 14 countries and 30,000 customers.

Hudson Hill Capital managing partner Eric Rosen said: "These senior executives within technology, ecommerce, and franchising will strengthen the InXpress business globally.

"Each individual brings many years of relevant experience that will strengthen our technology, franchise, and service expertise to enhance the experience of our customers."

Mr Simmons currently serves as managing director at Exaltare Capital Partners, which he co-founded.

He is also executive chairman of ECP-PF Holdings, one of the largest Planet Fitness franchise with health clubs in Connecticut, New Mexico, and New York.
