North IT specialist razorblue to create 25 jobs after toasting record results

North IT services specialist razorblue is toasting record results after seeing turnover jump 32% to £9m.

The IT services provider – headquartered in Catterick, North Yorkshire, with offices in Newcastle, Wynyard, Leeds, Manchester, London and Edinburgh – is aiming for turnover of £20m, as rising numbers of clients also leads to new jobs.

Over the course of the financial year the technology group grew its headcount 30% to 120 staff, which includes doubling its sales and marketing team, as well as making 12 internal promotions. It now plans to create a further 25 jobs.

Razorblue plans to recruit the additional team members in the next 12 months, to support its plans to continue expanding its nationwide coverage and adding more products and services to the current offering.

Chief executive officer Dan Kitchen said: “Our long-term strategy to put our customers first, constantly improving our service, evolving our product offering, and employing the most skilled technical experts – has paid off.

“This puts us in a strong position to continue to implement our growth strategy through geographical expansion over the coming months.

“We have made particular investment in our 24/7 offering this year, with more and more clients demanding access to our services around the clock.”
