An advertising agency which launched an office in Birmingham last year is already on the move.

M3, which is headquartered in Albrighton near Wolverhampton, opened its first office in Birmingham in Alpha Tower last summer.

Having already outgrown the premises, the firm has agreed a new deal to take space in Somerset House, Temple Street, and created six new roles focussed on digital marketing and social media.

The company now employs more than 40 people across its two West Midlands offices and a third base in London and offers services such as brand development, media planning and web development.

Its recent new client wins include Affordable Car Hire and Co-op Funerals which have nudged annual fees in the Birmingham office passed the £480,000 mark in the first year.

The agency said it was now targeting a threefold increase of this by the end of 2020 which it expected would create a further ten jobs.

Digital director Sam Hufton said: "We are very passionate about being based in the West Midlands, a region where the creative talent is often overlooked for London - something we are starting to put right.

"In just a short space of time, we have invested heavily into finding the right space and building a great team that is packed full of ideas and significant experience of the digital arena and the different techniques that deliver audience engagement, market share and, importantly sales.
