Mobile agency Apadmi to move HQ to Anchorage penthouse office

Garry Partington, Apadmi CEO, said the decision comes as the firm has doubled in size over the past two years

Manchester-based mobile technology company Apadmi have signed an 11-year lease on a penthouse office in Anchorage, Salford.

The agency has exchanged contracts with developer Canmoor, currently carrying out an £8m refurbishment at Anchorage, which will see a 12,500 sq ft space turned into its new headquarters.

Garry Partington, Apadmi CEO, said the decision comes as the firm has doubled in size over the past two years.

“Our ways of working have demanded more collaboration space, better tech labs and more room for UX labs.

He continued: “We looked hard for a new home that matches our ambition for the next ten years and supports our continual innovation.

“The top floor of the Anchorage is the ideal blank canvas for us – the location, space and views are amazing – we can create the perfect workspace that blends tech and creativity.”

Mr Partington said the firms growth has been driven by new work for clients, including Co-op, Argos and SailGP.

He said: “We’ve got three big, new clients that we can’t shout about just yet, which is why we’re adding even more new faces to Apadmi and creating a place where digital talent can thrive.
